Yellow Submarine GIVEAWAY!

We all live in a Yellow Submarine...

In honor of our TENTH... Yes.  You heard that right... Our TENTH Tea & A Butty podcast, where we'll be talking all about Yellow Submarine, we've decided to do a little giveaway!  And we do mean little.  Though this is our TENTH podcast, it is our FIRST giveaway, and if this goes smoothly, perhaps there may be others in the future.

So, what are we giving away, you ask?  Well, in keeping with the Yellow Submarineyness of our show, we have a very cute little K'nex 21-piece The Beatles Yellow Submarine mini figure set for ages 5+.  This is an adorable little set to add to any collection, or to give to your child, Beatles fan.

So, now you want to know how you can enter to win this Beatles set, am I right?  Well, it's easy.

RULES

The only rule is that: 1.) you must be at least 18 years old and allowed to give away your mailing address to strangers, because, we are quite strange after all. (Please note that there has been so much interest that we have opened up the contest to the entire world! Sorry Non-Humans, maybe next time, eh?)

HOW TO ENTER

Three ways to enter The Beatles Yellow Submarine Giveaway:

1.  Comment on this blog with your first name and the city and state in which you live.  So, if we entered, the blog comment would read simply: "Erica, Austin, Texas." or "Jane, London, England" if you live overseas.

2.  Tweet "@teabutty #TeaButty Yellow Submarine Giveaway Entry - City, State (in which you live)."  We don't necessarily need your name here, unless you just want to give it to us.  Your Twitter handle is sufficient.

 3.  Comment on the Giveaway Facebook post on our Facebook Page or on our Facebook Group with your first name and the city and state in which you live."  This entry then would be a Facebook comment that would read something like: "Dominic, Austin, Texas." or "John, Liverpool, England" if you live overseas.

CONTEST DATES

You may enter anytime from today, March 7, 2016 to 11:59 PM CST on Wednesday, March 16, 2016.  So, you have one week to enter.  One entry per person.  Entering multiple times will not increase your chances of winning.

WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

We will draw a name out of a hat... or bag... or something... you get the idea, and announce the winner on our upcoming Yellow Submarine podcast, the date is to be announced.

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE

If we choose your name, we will contact you for your mailing address and let you know once we have mailed it out so you can be looking for it.

So, there you go.  Enter away, my friends, and may luck be on your side.  Let us know if you have any questions in the comments section below, or on Facebook or Twitter.

Live: Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band at the Winstar World Casino, Oklahoma, 5/7/2014

"I'm Ringo and I play the Drums..."

Last night I fulfilled a lifelong dream. A dream that I had since I was about 8 years old. To see Ringo Starr play his drums live.

Ringo was performing at the Winstar World Casino and Resort just over the Texas border in Oklahoma with his All Star Band, which was comprised of Todd Rundgren on Rhythm Guitar, Steve Lukather (Toto) on Lead guitar, Gregg Rolie (Santana & Journey) on Hammond Organ, Richard Page (Mr. Mister) on Bass, Mark Rivera on Sax and Greg Bissonette on the drums.

Ringo usually has a second drummer to play while he gets up front to sing and the 2 hour show is not only made up of Ringo's material from his solo career and that huge band he was in back in Liverpool (Rory Storm & The Hurricanes) :-P

Steve Lukather, Todd Rundgren, Richard Page and Greg Rolie all performed hits from their respective bands ('Rosanna', 'Bang On The Drum', 'Broken Wings' and 'Africa' were among the non-Ringo songs played).

If you haven't seen Ringo and his All Starr Band yet, you are missing out on a treat. The Winstar Global Event Center which is attached to their Casino and Hotel, was the perfect venue, quite intimate yet big enough for Ringo and the band to rock out.
