Trump: Don't you know that you can count him out. |
I'm sure a lot of my fellow Beatles fans in the States have been following the Campaign trail, whether you are a Republican or Democrat. As someone who leans heavily on the Democratic side, I can not abide Donald Trump's use of 'Revolution' at his rallies. Adele has already asked him to stop using her songs.
The fact is, Donald Trump is not going to revolutionise the United States. His polices so far have amounted to nothing but bigotry, hatred and fear. When asked what he plans to do when he becomes President he shrugs, puts up his hand and goes "It's going to be great! We're going to win!" but what exactly the USA is going to win, we don't know. Publisher's Clearing House? The next series of the Apprentice?? The chants of "USA! USA!" at his rallies are telling. When he'd won the New Hampshire Primary, he looked a little embarrassed at them, even ashamed when they were doing it. So if he has any sense of decency, he will end this campaign now.
I just hope someone from Apple can stop Trump from using the Beatles' songs in his rallies. Especially one that doesn't adequately describe what kind of campaign he is running.
Heh. It was perfect. "If you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao, you ain't gonna make it with anyone anyhow..."
ReplyDeleteSanders is a joke. Even John Lennon knew it.
John lennon imagined bernie sanders.

DeleteMr. Trump is leading a political revolution so the song is very appropriate. His is a revolution against all the corrupt Democrat and Republican establishment "insiders" who have been ripping off the American people for far too long. They have sold their souls (and votes) to the highest bidders without regard to the average American worker and his/her best interests. Hillary has been bought and paid for by BIG money, much of it coming from corrupt foreign governments. Trump will REFORM the government and that's why all these insiders hate him. Their greedy cozy insider game has enriched them and they will do anything to stop Trump so they can keep on ripping off America.
Delete"But if you want money for people with minds that hate, All I can tell you is brother you have to wait"... sounds more like an anti_Trump song to me
ReplyDeleteTrump hates women, he hates the LGBTQPA+ community, he hates Mexicans, African Americans, basically anyone who is not white (or orange like him.) He is rich, so filthy rich that he is completely out of touch with what this country needs- since the majority of America now lives below the poverty line. The Beatles were the spokesmen of a generation, preaching PEACE AND LOVE. PEACE AND LOVE are not products of bigotry and misogyny... quite the opposite, in fact.
DeletePlease stop lying about Trump! Trump LOVES women! He has promoted more women to top jobs in his companies than most others. He LOVES the LGBTQ community and was quick to defend them from the vicious haters behind the Orlando massacre. He loves ALL people of ALL backgrounds as evidenced in his hiring practices. Those who know him best say that he doesn't have a racist bone in his body! He is rich like The Beatles and others are by EARNING his billions by working hard and smart. Please stop your FALSE smearing of this great man, Mr. Trump, our next President! Don't be disrespectful, it reflects very negatively on YOU!

ReplyDeleteThe Beatles
You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out
Don't you know it's gonna be
All right, all right, all right
You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We'd all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We're doing what we can
But if you want money for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is brother you have to wait
Don't you know it's gonna be
All right, all right, all right
You say you'll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it's the institution
Well, you know
You better free you mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao
You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow
Don't you know it's gonna be
All right, all right, all right
All right, all right, all right
All right, all right, all right
All right, all right
